Description

This math station game has metric and customary conversion problems, elapsed time, and adding and subtracting money. Included are two PDFs, with one of them being for students to use for online learning. It includes form fields for them to input in their answers. The other is ideal for math station work. There are 24 problems for students to match up, with a worksheet for the students to record their answers and an answer sheet for the teacher. This puzzle can be used by small groups, partners, or individual students. Also works great for those fast finishers!

Students need to know how to divide, multiply and add and subtract in order to be able to solve these problems. The activity can be printed double sided with the name of the center on the back side for easy identification.

Both PDFs contain the same problems, just one is set up for students online learning and the other is for classroom math centers.

I always get a cheer when these come out, definite class favorites!

Know relative sizes of measurement units within one system of units including km, m, cm; kg, g; lb, oz.; l, ml; hr, min, sec. Within a single system of measurement, express measurements in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Record measurement equivalents in a two-column table. For example, know that 1 ft is 12 times as long as 1 in. Express the length of a 4 ft snake as 48 in. Generate a conversion table for feet and inches listing the number pairs (1, 12), (2, 24), (3, 36),...
Use the four operations to solve word problems involving distances, intervals of time, liquid volumes, masses of objects, and money, including problems involving simple fractions or decimals, and problems that require expressing measurements given in a larger unit in terms of a smaller unit. Represent measurement quantities using diagrams such as number line diagrams that feature a measurement scale.
Convert among different-sized standard measurement units within a given measurement system (e.g., convert 5 cm to 0.05 m), and use these conversions in solving multi-step, real world problems.
