This math activity is no prep, self-checking, and can be used on Smartboards, Chromebooks, iPads, and even phones!

  • Teacher notes and suggestions for use.
  • Cards 1-4 Students type in angle's measurement using a protractor
  • Cards 5-8 Students click on correct angle measurement using a protractor
  • Cards 9-12 Students drag and drop to classify type of angle
  • Cards 13-16 Students click on correct angle type
  • Cards 17-20 Students click on missing angle measurement
  • Cards 21-24 Students type in missing angle measurement

This was so helpful during distant learning to allow students to practice measuring angles! I did not use any other portions since I had already taught it weeks ago and we were focusing on angles measurement but plan on using it in the future.

An angle is measured with reference to a circle with its center at the common endpoint of the rays, by considering the fraction of the circular arc between the points where the two rays intersect the circle. An angle that turns through 1/360 of a circle is called a “one-degree angle,” and can be used to measure angles.
An angle that turns through 𝘯 one-degree angles is said to have an angle measure of 𝘯 degrees.
