Common Core, 1.MD.1 and 1.MD.2
This packet includes 6 teacher made worksheets corresponding with Common Core, Measurement and Data for First Grade. The first three worksheets match 1.MD.1, and the last three worksheets relate to 1.MD.2.
Each worksheet requires students to manipulate objects to discover their answers. I prepared this activity to use during B.U.I.L.D. My students will be completing this during U (Using Manipulatives) during math stations. The objects I chose for each activity will take some, but not a lot of effort to gather.
I used three themes: school supplies, household items, and toys.
Items Used
School Supplies: bar eraser, glue bottle, pencil, and crayon
Household Items: ladle, fork, straw, and spatula
Toys: Hot Wheel, Lego, Barbie, and Candy Land box
