Description

Low prep task bin activity to practice an essential life skill of measuring ingredients. Great for pre-cooking group activity or independent work.

This comes with:

  • 2 different fonts/versions
  • 36 measurements per set
  • Measurements by CUP, TSP, & TBSP

Ideas for use:

  • {Print} {Cut} {Laminate} {Hole Punch} {Ring}
  • Use dry rice or beans (or another similar small material) that can easily be measured without making a mess.
  • Not only is it easy to put together, but you can get all of these items at places like Walmart, Dollar Tree, 99 cent store or somewhere similar!
  • I was inspired to make this bin not just to practice identifying different measuring cups, but because I had a student struggling to measure all the way to the top of the cup.  It wouldn't be a full "1 cup" if it's filled up half way right?
  • This is perfect to practice on a daily/weekly basis instead of waiting to have a cooking lesson that involves measuring.
