Description

Engage your students with hands-on activities that focus on using nonstandard units of measurement to find length and record their results. This bundle includes ALL the themes in my store so far. These easy low prep mats are just perfect for special needs children in kindergarten and first grade or for preschoolers learning to measure.

This easy measurement activity will get students doing hands-on measurement using linking cubes. Laminate the mats and keep them stored in your math tubs for an easy activity that your students can work on. This is a perfect supplement to any measurement unit in kindergarten or first grade.

This bundle also includes the digital measurement activity used with BOOM CARDS. Distance learning students will love this resource!

What's included in each unit:

- 17 measurement items / task cards

- 2 recording mats

- B&W version of all the mats

How to use:

You could print 2 pages on one sheet on landscape mode by clicking on ‘print options’ and ‘print more than one page on one sheet’ then choose landscape. This way you could get different sizes if you wish. Laminate the pages too and get the students to count the cubes as they measure the length of each penguin. They can then record their responses on the sheets with a dry erase marker or you could print them in black and white and get the students to record normally then cut and paste them into their notebooks.
