Description

No-prep 3rd–4th grade practice measuring to the nearest quarter inch with a ruler, in Google Slides. Scaffolded task cards move from guided steps to independent practice — ideal for math centers, stations, and blended learning.

This resource is a set of digital task cards created in Google Slides on the skill of  measuring to the nearest fourth of an inch. During this activity, students measure pencils on a ruler and determine the nearest 4th of an inch. The task cards are includes instructional guidance cards, which walk students through steps of converting, then give a skill practice cards without the guidance. The resource also includes a visual aid chart to support students conceptual understanding of using a ruler, and how to determine the fractional parts. The supports give students guidance, that lessons as the students progress through the deck. They then have the opportunity to practice the skill independently. Targeted to 3rd-4th grade students.

This deck includes:

  • 4 Instuctional Chart
  • 20 Digital Task Cards in Google Slides. 

NO PREP work, and distance learning, Virtual Learning or NTI Friendly!

Can assign through Google Classroom as an independent assignment, math centers or use during whole group instruction.

With the purchase, you will receive PDF with a link that will make a copy of the Google Slides slide deck to your Google Drive. The PDF will also include a paper copy of the answer key to the digital task cards!
