I used this in a Medieval club I ran for 3rd and 4th graders. It was easy to make and fun!
I used this in conjunction with our medieval social studies curriculum. We marked 1 cm intervals on the central stick so that students could see how their throw was effected by different levels of force. We then charted and drew where their shots landed. They loved it.
