Based on Alex Lawson's Student Continuum of Numeracy Development, the following resource can be used to introduce and practice the strategies. I had noticed that more subtle introductions to strategies had been less successful and thus the original resource was created. After using it for a year with a grade 3/4 class, I have made changes and created additional versions to match other grades.

Please note that this set includes only the section on Counting On, Counting Back and only include numbers up to 20.
