Description

In the Menu Math - Adding and Subtracting Decimals activity, students will have the chance to work on their decimal addition and subtraction skills while using real-world math problems to create restaurant meal deals that are less than $10.

Directions: Your teacher is about to open up their newest restaurant and you have been hired as the Meal Deal Master. Choosing one item from each category, create at least ten meal deals that cost less than $10 each. For each meal deal, you need to show the total price (Think: Addition) and the total money remaining from $10 (Think: Subtraction). In order to successfully complete your first task as Meal Deal Master, you will need to show your work using at least two strategies for each problem. Good luck!
