Description
Menu math is a great extension math activity that I use in my classroom! This product includes a printable brochure project for your students to complete. This includes a fun and colorful "concession menu" with a variety of different Ball Park souvenirs and food items listed. Students use the menu to complete the brochure project. Students will answer addition and subtraction questions based on choices they make.
My students are SO motivated by Menu Math and it teaches them valuable "real world" math skills. I have had students come in to school after doing menu math and tell me that they did menu math when their family went out to dinner at a restaurant or at a store.
Skills Include:
-Finding items on the Menu
-Subtraction without regrouping
-Subtraction with regrouping
-Multi-step story problems (with addition and subtractions)
