Description
Create Your Own Restaurant and Menu (Restaurant Math Activity) Students love to create a restaurant menu! Collect menus from local restaurants to inspire students as well. After they write their own menu, they can dine at their own restaurant with restaurant dramatic play and figure out their total on the receipt. I also love to have students choose another student's restaurant menu to eat at. The menu and receipts look great on a hallway bulletin board as well. What a fun way to review addition. My 3rd graders loved creating their own restaurants and using menu math
Step 1:
Students name their restaurant & then design a menu with their own items and prices
Step 2:
Students design the front of their restaurant
Step 3:
Students can either dine at their own OR at their friend’s restaurants. They write their selections down on the receipt and calculate the total bill! What a fun way to practice addition skills!
