This zip file contains materials for a middle school science lesson on the formation and composition of metamorphic rocks as part of an Earth science unit. The unit was designed for 7th graders in NYC.


Includes:

-SMARTboard .notebook lesson presentation (9 slides).
-PowerPoint file with various rock and rock cycle diagrams.
-Homework assignment with questions on rock types and related science article.
-Additional review homework assignment.


Presentations serve as lesson plans that guide the teacher through the entire lesson. Presentation includes links to related YouTube videos to increase student engagement.
