Metric Conversion Activity and Chart
Share

Description

If your students struggle with metric conversion, this is the product for you. Created by a team of fourth grade teachers and tested in our classrooms, this activity with manipulatives makes metric conversion thinking visible. It's engaging and fun but, best of all, each one of our students was successful.

This product has a chart for the students to fill in, digit cards, and teacher instructions (including a sample of the filled in chart). This lesson can be a whole class period or can be used during an intervention group.

This is not what I thought I was getting when I purchased this resource. I thought I was getting a sheet that looked like the cover picture for this product.

I'm sorry this product didn't meet your expectations. I used to just hand the students a chart like the one pictured for this product, but I found it was much more effective to have the students create their own. That is why I created this lesson. The picture is just to give you an idea about what it will look like filled in at the conclusion of the lesson.
