Description
Metric conversions have NEVER been easier. Step-by-step directions on teaching metric conversions - you could even leave this for a sub, I make it so easy! This resource contains detailed, simple, easy to follow notes for teaching students metric conversions.
Conversions are taught using kilo-, hecto-, deka-, unit, deci-, centi-, milli- only. I use the method in which students count the number of jumps between prefixes, and then move the decimal point accordingly. There are three example problems following the explanation and ten practice classwork problems. A homework handout is included for more practice. All answer keys included.
