Description

Practice selecting non-standard items to use as standard metric unit referents or choose the correct measurement from common objects with these worksheets. It only takes a few moments to print these pages that make differentiation a snap.

This measurement resource includes:

  • 15 different pages that practice choosing measurement units to measure specific items and choosing referents for standard metric units. Measurements include millimetres, centimetres, metres, millilitres, litres, grams, kilograms and their abbreviations.
  • two colouring pages for review.
  • all 15 pages have answer keys.
  • Canadian/British spellings and metric measurements (cm, m km).
  • SI Notation, so numbers are written with spaces between place values instead of commas. (Example: 2 000 instead of 2,000).
