Description

Bring coding to life with this fun and interactive Micro:bit project! In this engaging STEM activity, students will create their own digital Pet Alien using the Micro:bit and Microsoft MakeCode. Students will learn how to use variables, timers, conditionals, and button inputs while building a character that reacts to their interactions.

🚀 What Students Will Do

Students will program their Micro:bit to create a needy alien pet that responds to interaction:

  • Press Button A to make the alien happy and show a heart
  • If the alien is ignored for 20 seconds, it yawns
