Description

This project is a great introduction to Conditional Formatting in Excel. This project is not only fun, but provides skills that are clearly explained using a step-by-step illustrated format and provides students with an engaging, authentic approach to learning.

The project includes a similar interface used on the MOS exam so students are prepared. The assessment component would be students performing the tasks needed to create an interactive game without the instructions, only the task list.

Lesson Plan that Includes:

Lesson Title

Project Scenario (A brief description of the project details)

Instructional materials

Project Data File

Project Task List

Project – Detailed Instructions

Marzano Learning Goals and Objectives

Assessment/Evaluation

Data Files: The files students will have to open and work on throughout the entire project.

Task List: Identifies each question as a task that students will perform in a format similar to the actual MOS exam.

Detailed Instructions: Step-by-step, illustrated instructions that accompany each task allowing students to easily follow as they progress through the project.
