Description

Purpose: To offer learners scenarios to practice creating functions using Microsoft Excel.

Content: Using an Excel spreadsheet to work in, learners are given 10 different basic scenarios and are asked to create functions. This is on an intermediate level, and the content is for practicing what learners have already learned, not to teach the functions themselves. Functions included are AND (), CONCAT (), TEXTJOIN (), LEFT (), UPPER (), AVERAGE (), COUNTBLANK (), IF (), SUMIF (), MAX (), VLOOKUP (). One includes a nested function. A cover worksheet for the students and solutions for the instructor, are included.

Benefits: To reinforce function skills already learned, and to practice for the Microsoft Office Specialist Exam.
