Description

In this highly engaging math challenge problem, students will have fun while digging deep into their thinking! This resource is part of a weekly series that I will be releasing throughout the school year!

This challenge problem is the very first one of the series. The missing numbers are positive, whole numbers and students should be able to solve fairly easily. Each week I plan to make the problems a tad bit harder and eventually plan to include decimals, fractions, and integers!

This challenge problem comes in black and white or color and includes an answer document with space for student work! If you plan on giving your students the new problem released each week, I have also included a numbered version!

I have now included a DIGITAL VERSION!

★WHAT'S INCLUDED:★

• challenge problem poster - not numbered (black and white or color)

• challenge problem poster - numbered (black and white or color)

• student answer document (prints 2 per page)

• answer key

• PDF with a link to a Google Form™ version

★MATERIALS NEEDED:★

• pencil

I use this as a when your done paper. My intervention students do enjoy it but many of them get very frustrated quickly.
