Description

In this resource

In the Statistics & Data Analysis set of posters we are provided with some basic definitions and formulas before jumping into Types of Events, Theoretical & Experimental Probability, Predictions, Conditional Probability, Mean-Median-Mode-Range, Box and Whisker Plots, Tree Diagrams, Complimentary Events, and Area probability. I need to note that students, and some adults, struggle with this set of concepts as Statistics is its own discipline with its own language. This file is part #4 in a larger set of posters which can be purchased as a set here.

Depending on your district, some of these concepts are introduced in different grade levels. As such, this resource, and its individual resources, are NOT targeted to any single grade level. I have seen many of these concepts presented in the EOY tests for all different grade levels in some form or another over the years. They are also not targeted to any specific state standards.

Files

This resource includes the original Adobe Illustrator file that I always work from, a (large) PDF, and a PowerPoint File that you can edit directly.

Note! You will need the proper fonts installed on your machine when working with the included PowerPoint files. There is a font list included in the zip file. Because the PowerPoints were converted from the original PDF THERE WILL BE SOME FORMATTING ISSUES!!! There is no getting around it. I have gone into the PP file and fixed/adjusted what I could, but there may be some issues I could not fix.

There is a font list. If you do not have all of these fonts installed, your posters will have formatting issues. I cannot include fonts in the resource due to licensing concerns.

There is an asset folder of graphic elements from the resources that you may want to use in other programs.

Format

These are actually 24"x36" full-sized posters that you can print out on any large format printer (poster maker). They can also be printed to smaller sheets of paper as long as you set up your printer to output properly.

Warning!

This file is huge!!! It pushes the limit on the TPT limit on filesize. There is the rare occurrence when an Apple system is not able to open large zip files. Archive Utility on Mac doesn’t allow you to unzip large files. You will have to use a different zip program (StuffIt Expander) or try using Terminal. This is NOT an issue with the file! There may also be some issue with the version of IOS that is running on the machine. Make sure you have the latest updates installed. This is not an issue on Windows computers.

Feedback

If you have an issue, please contact me prior to leaving any negative feedback. I can fix any problem and reupload the resource in very little time, provided I am given ample lead time. Also, check the preview image prior to download so you know what you're getting.
