Description

Students will engage in some detective work in this lab, requiring them to identify the material of ten different cubes. The density is provided for each of the ten cubes on the lab worksheet and students are provided with the cubes. Their job is to measure the mass and volume of each cube and calculate the density. Next, they correctly place them in the box that matches the density that they calculated. NOTE - this lab requires a density cube set, which is a very useful set of materials in a science class.

Great! Thanks for sharing. I think this sheet I created is a more constructivist approach. Happy teaching!
