Middle School Student Behavior Reflection
Share

Description

As middle school teachers, we TRY to get students to think before they act. While that rarely occurs at this age, (smile), we then try to have them reflect after the fact and try to guide them to make more thoughtful and appropriate choices in the future. That is the purpose of this reflection guide.

I have given this guide a "PEACE" theme which I hope will be something that my students can relate to. Maybe your students will too. This reflection guide includes places for the teacher to describe the behavior; two places for for the student to reflect upon the behavior and the consequences for it and lastly, a section where the student commits to a positive response. Students AND parents sign the guide, documenting your effort to involve students and parents in a collaborative solution.

Thanks for looking at my "creation" and have a fantastic school year!

Definitely prefer this to other reflection sheets I've found. Great for a middle school setting!

Thank you. I was making kids write a reflection journal and this has become part of it.
