Midpoint Distance Interactive Notebook Mandala Coloring Activity

This mandala coloring activity on midpoint and distance formulas was an excellent addition to our interactive notebooks. The combination of math practice with a creative coloring component kept the students focused and calm while tackling multi-step geometry problems. It provided a great balance of challenge and engagement, making it highly effective for both individual practice and reinforcing core concepts. The students appreciated the visual break, and the finished products looked great in their notebooks. This resource is well-designed and worth the price.

I used this to review distance and midpoint before our Unit Test, since they seemed to struggle the most with those two topics. The students really enjoyed getting to color the picture after working out the problems; it was a fun way to review with some "downtime" built in.

It is nice the students have a choice in choosing their colors. There is an error in #1's answer as the y value should be -3/2 and it is listed as -2/3
