I love adding movement into lessons...even just walking the room! My students are more attentive and excited to show their skills when they are not sitting in their seats.
This resource may be used two different ways. The main intent is for students to practice their basic subtraction skills by having to walk around the classroom for the problems. Each problem has a letter which is used to solve the riddle on the page. Simply post the letters, copy a work page for each student, and let them move around to solve problems and a riddle. This also helps them self-assess.
You may also print the work page that has the problems already listed. This may be done at their seat. They don't need to move around, but they do get to self-assess by solving the riddle.
