My students LOVE Minecraft, so I wanted to create an activity that combines their interests and math. Assign a set of Minecraft Math Google Slides to each student in Google Classroom. Students find the area and perimeter of eight Minecraft characters. The final few slides contain questions about their findings. Finally, students order pictures of the characters from least to greatest area and perimeter. I have also included a coloring craftivity where students can design their own Minecraft character.
