Students love Minecraft and one way to encourage their love for math is to make it fun. This Minecraft exercise is for students learning about fractions.
Three worksheets are included.
-Worksheet one: -This worksheet contains simple fractions. Students must identify whether a fraction is less than, greater than or equal to 1 and color in the squares with the corresponding color indicated. The finished result, when done correctly, will yield an image of a Minecraft Cow.
-Worksheet two: -This worksheet contains a mix of fractions and decimal points. Students must identify whether a fraction or decimal point is less than, greater than or equal to 1 and color in the squares with the corresponding color indicated. There is a bonus for identifying whether a square is equal to 1/2, although if students don’t know the bonus answers, they can still treat those squares as equal to less than 1. The finished result, when done correctly, will yield an image of a Diamond Armor Steve.
