2 - 4 player game
POP! is a fun card game to teach and reinforce chow to find missing addends. This item includes 30 cards and 6 POP! cards. (Game goes faster with fewer POP! cards).
Can be timed or not timed
Materials included:
36 Task Cards in color and printer friendly versions
Recording Sheet
Answer Key
Directions:
The first player draws the top card. He reads the problem out loud and solves it on the recording sheet.
He tells everyone the answer.
The person to his right checks the answer sheet to see if he is correct.
If he answers the question correctly he keeps the card. If he answers incorrectly, he puts the card back on the bottom of the stack of cards.
Now it is player 2 turn.
If you pull a POP! card, you have to put all of your cards back on the bottom of the stack and your turn is over.
The winner is whoever has the most cards when all of the cards are gone OR when time is up.
My students LOVE this game. I have played this in groups, during small groups, and have put in a center before. I hope your kids enjoy it, too!
