Are you looking for an engaging math activity to add to your dental health unit? Or are you looking for independent work tasks to use in your special education classroom? If so, this dental health missing number activity is the perfect addition to your classroom.
Students need to look at the numbers on the teeth and work out what the missing number is and insert it. You can use the included individual teeth with numbers on that are in this pack or you can use a dry-wipe pen to get your students working on their number formation skills.
The levels included in this task box are;
- Missing middle number - counting in 1s 0-20
- Missing first number - counting in 1s 0-20
- Missing last number - counting in 1s 0-20
- Missing first and last number - counting in 1s 0-20
- Missing middle and last number - counting in 1s 0-20
- Missing first and middle number - counting in 1s 0-20
Instructions
- Print out the task cards.
- Cut out and laminate each of the individual task cards.
- Provide your students with a dry wipe pen - or print out/laminate/cut the included number teeth - for students to use to insert the missing numbers.
These task cards fit perfectly into photo storage boxes - making it easy for you to stay organised and keep all the pieces together. It also comes with a cover for the storage boxes for your reference.
