Description

This resource meets common core standards and helps students visualize “adding” objects. First, students count the mittens on the left side of the snowman and writes the number in the equation box. They do the same thing with the right side of the snowman. Next, they add the numbers together and write the answer in the equation frame. After they complete their number sentence in the equation frame, they write it on the recording sheet. Great to use in math centers or guided math groups.
