A math notebook page to guide students through modeling integer operations with algebra tiles or counters. There is a page for each operation. While the notes are easy to prep, this is not a no-prep lesson. It requires modeling several integer problems as students build their understanding of the rules for adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing integers. I would recommend taking at least 2 class periods for each operation to build understanding.

There is lot of practice included that can be used as a station, exit tickets, quizzes, homework, etc.

For the Notebook Pages: This product includes two versions of notes. One with all notes filled in (except the interactive parts) and one with key words left blank so students can actively participate.

There is no cutting for students, only a simple fold. Students could also color as they take notes. find that students are more engaged when they have something to color.
