This lesson is a great way to use manipulatives to solve simple equations. It utilizes paper clips and cubes to create and solve equations involving addition. Students have the opportunity to create at their desks as well as come to the smartboard to create equations given to them. This lesson is complete with examples, problems, and even an "exit ticket" quiz to check for student understanding.
