This was an awesome way to review systems of linear inequalities using real-life situations. It was easy to use and easy for students to understand.

I used this in my 9th grade ELL Algebra class and students liked having options to check their answer. It was short enough for them to complete in one class period. I added scaffolds for the students to fill in the corresponding rates for x and y and choose the inequality sign. For example: ___x+___y___120 and x+y ___ 10 My only complaint is that there is a mistake on the answer key for #1. The answer key seems to have swapped values for x and y (the equation should use 20x+10y >=120 but has 10x+20y>=120). Luckily, the "wrong" answer ended up being written close to the intersection of the lines so students were able to recognize it!

Thank you for your review and for bringing that typo to my attention. I've corrected it so if you redownload you'll have the correct version for next time!

Great four problems for extra practice. I appreciate resources with these types of problems - they are hard to find along with a coordinate plane and I was happy to see that both axes were labeled already, as determining intervals is not a part of the concept being taught.

Hello, This resource is aimed at state standards that require students to generate the linear inequalities from the word problem but you could absolutely write in the inequalities before copying to use as graphing practice or as a scaffold.
