This focus wall includes mini posters about important topics in Module 3 of Eureka Squared. There are many similarities between Module 2 and Module 3. In Module 3 the multiplication and division problems are taken to the hundreds/thousands place, but the strategies remain the same as Module 2.
I plan on keeping all of the posters up throughout Module 3 to help students have a visual of the big ideas. The posters cover these topics:
- Multiplying Multiples of 10
- RDW
- Vertical Form (multiplication)
- Vertical Form (division)
- Associative Property
- Area Model Strategy (for multiplication and division)
- Remainders
- Place Value Strategy (for multiplication and division)
- Pounds and Ounces
- Liquid Measurement (cups, pints, quarts, gallons)
I have a color coded system for each module, so this board is blue. I have also included a black and white version if you would rather have that or to print on your preferred colored paper.
