This lesson is a part of a bundle of lessons for Unit 1 of the Harlem Renaissance for 7th grade!
This particular lesson is exploring feeling in text. Students will learn about tone. This lesson is catered to ML students and students that are reading BELOW a middle school level. This is part of an entire block of lessons and is designed to go with other lessons in the unit. This particular lesson only lasts 20-30 minutes. Please see below for bundle info.
These lessons are catered to ML students and students that are reading BELOW a middle school level. Lessons are broken up into 3 parts: Skills Drill: 10-15 minutes (Common Core Standards that are commonly on state assessments), Vocabulary: 10-15 minutes (vocabulary words that students may not be familiar with), and Curriculum: 20-30 minutes (the condensed curriculum lessons). Assessments are included for Skills Drills and Vocabulary with grading rubrics and conversion to a 1-4 point grading scale.
These lessons were broken up week by week but can be split up into whatever fits your needs.
