Description
This smart sheet serves as a followup to my Molarity Phet Lab. It has 14 questions requiring the students to calculate Molarity, Moles, Liters and Grams using the Molarity Equation. It is a Smart Sheet that is designed to greatly improve distance learning. Since it auto grades both the answer and the unit the students come up with, it allows students to see right away if they are doing it correctly or if they are getting lost. This, more than anything else, has been an amazing tool for improving student confidence with the challenging topics covered in chemistry.
What is a Smart Doc?
All of my documents have an enormous amount of coding inside them to make your life easier, and help students build confidence and master the material. Smart Docs do the following without you having to lift a finger:
- Automatically check a students numeric answers, giving them instant feedback on if they are doing the problems correctly. This is particularly useful for distance learning where you aren't there to answer on the spot questions.
- Automatically check the unit a student attaches to their answer so you don't have to jostle their elbow about including the unit.
- Automatically translate the ENTIRE PAGE into ANY LANGUAGE the student would like to do the assignment in. No more hurriedly trying to translate an assignment before handing it out, every student can take charge and translate it themselves.
- Color Coded to help make it clear where students need to write answers.
- Amazing for Distance Learning since it only requires the internet.
