Two-page Interactive Brochure with Monarch Butterfly facts
Interactive Brochure pieces for brochure (facts and build your own butterfly)
The interactive brochure allows students to do the following:
Page 1: Title Page (color the butterfly orange, black and white)
Page 2: Did you know? Glue facts down about Monarch Butterflies
Page 3: My Research- have students conduct their own research and write facts.I have provided several resources for you to use as you conduct research.
Page 4: Build a Butterfly; use the interactive pieces to glue together a butterfly. Then students need to draw a line from the body part word to that body part. If the body part is not provided then students should draw the part on the butterfly.
Page 5: Butterfly Life Cycle (images provided and named). Students draw arrows to show the correct order.
Page 6: Butterfly Habitat: Students create a habitat based on knowledge learned from researching. Then list 4 basic needs a butterfly needs to live.
After conducting research, I have provided some writing papers to help students write a non-fictional writing about Monarch butterflies or just butterflies (both are provided).
(2) Pre-writing graphic organizers (Monarch Butterflies & Butterflies)
