This is a PROMETHEAN BOARD flip chart for counting US coins

This activity contains six pages:

-counting pennies

-counting nickels

-counting dimes

-counting quarters

-counting mixed coins (2 pages)

There are REAL PHOTOGRAPHS of different coins to be counted.

This activity is self correcting, the boxes are containers and each coin amount (ex. .15) has been coded with the correct box it belongs to.

(if the number is correct it stays in the box… incorrect and it is bounced out!)

I have used this to introduce and wrap up a lesson, a cloze activity, assessment tool and an independent activity.
