My class loved this practice with counting money. They loved seeing these cards around the room and practicing counting the coins.

Have your students swinging from desk to desk with this fun Monkey MONEY Scoot. These money game task cards test your students' MONEY knowledge UP TO fifty cents with single COIN cards, or MIX IT UP for an extra challenge. Students can practice counting coins by laying the manipulatives on the coin chart. Then use the cut and paste worksheets for practice for morning work, during guided math groups or for homework.

You can also play AROUND THE WORLD with these money cards where a card is shown to 2 students standing and the first one to yell out the correct money amount moves to the next desk. The student that makes it to the most desks wins.

Includes:

  • Directions to Money “Scoot”
  • 24 task cards and 4 Take a Break Cards if you have more than 24 students
  • Cards with a mixture of coins
  • Coin manipulatives
  • Coin counting chart
  • A recording sheet
  • Answer Key

Just added:

differentiated worksheets: One for like coins and one with mixed coins, black and white cards and more game ideas

If you are a parent using this packet you can use the cards with the manipulatives or coin chart. Your children can practice counting money with just the coin manipulatives that are included.

You could tape the cards around the house and have your children walk around and fill out the recording sheet. It would get them up and moving as they learn.
