Description

Cupcake Money Challenge: QR Codes

Students will scan the QR codes to reveal the cost of 12 cupcakes from two different stores. They are faced with the challenge of deciding which cupcakes to purchase. Students will need prior experience calculating dollars and cents up to $5 and multiplying two-digit numbers by 10.

This cupcake QR code challenge includes:
• 12 QR code price cards
• 1 guided word problem printable worksheet
• 1 template for students to create their own math challenge
• blank price cards

Please Note: You will need to download a free QR reader app onto your mobile device in order to use the QR codes.

Aligned with the BC (British Columbia) Math IRP for grade 3.

This product is licensed for personal classroom use.
