Hello everyone
My kiddos and I have been learning about counting coins and making change. The center games and activities were fun, however one day I had a few of my students come up to me and ask if we could do something more hands on. I was so proud of them for coming to me with this question! So my wheels immediatly began turning and I came up with this product.
here, the students will be shopping in the room at different stores. Some students will be cashiers and other will be customers. They will get a turn to do each.

I was quite disappointed with this - graphics that were blurry or copyright logos over them; words that were spelled wrong; etc. I am planning on using the misspelled words as a growth mindset activity to not hide our mistakes but it is disappointing that I paid for low quality, copyrighted materials.
My students liked this real world activity, it was helpful for counting money.
