Description

Money for 1st grade! Recognizing coins and their value is an important first grade standard. It takes a lot of practice! This first grade math unit allows your students to practice money by identifying coins and how much they are worth. These spring themed slides are printable, as an interactive PowerPoint, and are preloaded to Seesaw and Google Drive so you can easily assign. I have also included the image files so you can upload to a digital platform of your choice.

There are a variety of activities so students master this skill. Students will:

  1. Name each coin {penny, nickel, dime, and quarter}
  2. Slide the matching coin to the coin named
  3. Circle all of the named coin
  4. Match heads to tails
  5. Complete a chart of coin name, heads, tails, value

When you purchase this resource you will be provided printable centers, links to preloaded slides on Seesaw and Google Drive, the interactive PowerPoint, and image files.
