Share

Description

This unique, interactive bundle will have your students dig deeper into "The Monkey's Paw" short story.

Begin with the Superstition Now, Prove It to practice main idea and supporting details while introducing one of the story's key elements. This activity works as an engaging conversation starter and includes a writing component to practice the RACE strategy.

After reading the story, test students' knowledge of plot elements with a sort-and-solve plot diagram activity. They'll dig deeper into characterization with Trait Detective, which also includes another writing opportunity.

Finally, students will practice their inference skills with another Now, Prove It activity—the ultimate test of their comprehension.
