This is the Monomial portion of my Polynomial Unit Bundle.

There are 11 SMART Notebook files in the zip folder. 2 are student references and 9 are assignments. A brief description of each assignment:

Assignment #1 is a 24 question multiple choice assignment. The emphasis is recognizing polynomials and naming them as monomials, binomials, trinomials etc.. It is on 1 page for easy printing and coded for SMART Response.

Assignment #2 is a 24 question multiple choice assignment. The emphasis is the degree of a monomial and polynomial. It is on 1 page for easy printing and coded for SMART Response.

Assignment #3 is a 24 question multiple choice assignment. The emphasis is recognizing the base and exponents of monomials. Also, students are asked to recognize the expansions of monomials with exponents, It is on 1 page for easy printing and coded for SMART Response.

Assignment 3A is like 3 but with greater emphasis on signs and a 0 exponent.

Assignment #4 is a 24 multiple choice assignment. The emphasis is the adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing and the powering of monomials. It is on 1 page for easy printing and coded for SMART Response.

Assignment 4A is like #4 but 20 questions.

Assignment 4B is like 4 but 20 questions. Some problems combine operations.

Assignment 4C is a 20 question 2 choice assignment. The student must decide if the answer is positive or negative based on powers and multiplication. It is on 1 page for easy printing and coded for SMART Response.

Assignment #5 is a 20 question written assignment. The emphasis is the operations of monomials. It is on 1 page for easy printing.
