• Use the set of four notebook pages over the course of a week or the duration of a specific topic of study
• Page 1: Record the type of lesson and draw any new concepts from the presentation
• Page 2: Over the course of the study, record important vocabulary words from text, three part cards, or demonstrations. The child determines key information or definitions to include
  • Near the end of the study, the child determines the most important concept and completes the Frayer Model
