Description
These Montessori Math Centesimal Frame Booklets are a wonderful follow-up work for presentations on decimals and percentages.
- Booklet 1: Children convert the written fraction into a hundredth and then a decimal. They draw the fractional piece on the provided centesimal frame. The booklet covers fractions 1 whole through 1/12
- Booklet 2: Children place two or more of the same fractional piece on the centesimal frame and then record the number of hundredths and convert the number into a decimal. Booklet 2 introduces converting to a percentage and includes the written percentage symbol. Answer key cards are provided.
- Booklet 3: Children place two or more different fractional pieces on the centesimal frame and then record the number of hundredths, the number in decimal form, and the number as a percentage.
*In order to keep a printable format, the size of the centesimal frames in this booklet are smaller than an actual centesimal frame. Students will not be able to put the fraction pieces directly on the booklet, but will need a physical centesimal frame to work with.

I'm sorry you aren't completely satisfied with the centesimal frame booklets. I wanted to let you know that I did try to make the booklet frames the same size as the actual centesimal frame but was unable to come up with something I was pleased with. The size of the frame didn't allow for two frames to fit nicely side-by-side on a page. It resulted in either the edges being cut off due to lack of page margin, or parts of the frame being unreadable in the center crease once stapled together. When I used this material with my children, they filled in the actual centesimal frame with our fraction pieces and then used a ruler to recreate the pieces on the booklet. I may consider making these booklets into single page worksheets if I receive more feedback of customers wishing to use the fraction pieces directly on the page. I do thank you for your feedback!
