"I love that this resource showed the materials needed at the top of the page. It gave my students some direction for what materials to choose each day. It also gave them practice with different strategies/methods to use."

Description
The Math Master practice books allow children to monitor their own progress as they practice using a variety of Montessori math tools to solve addition problems at their own pace. The first page of the book features a visual check list, allowing the child to track which addition materials lessons they have completed. The following 40 pages use a visual cue to recommend a tool to assist the child in adding. Each page features a heading number line with all possible sums (to assist in number formation) and 2-9 addition problems using addends within 10. The book culminates in a 2 page "test" that the child completes at the direction of the teacher (teacher directions included).
Color-coded red to match Montessori color scheme for addition. No page numbers included, so you can add your own pages as desired to create a custom workbook.
This tool is recommended to be introduced to the child only after they have established a strong concrete and verbal foundation and are ready to explore written equations.
Aligned to common core standards for Kindergarten math.
