These homework charts are a fantastic way to engage students in home reading with a bit of a twist.

I started to use these as a part of my home reading program after some parents in my class explained that the reading log could be a hassle at the end of the day. Now, students earn class points or stickers when they fill in a row. I have heard from many parents and other teachers about the benefits of this new way of doing home reading/activities. Numerous parents have explained how their children are excited to get home and get reading.
