In this project, students will use the Engineering Design Process to design and create a monument to honor a mathematician or a scientist. Students to design a monument, determine the scale measurements, and the build the scale model. If necessary, the students will re-design the monument. This project can easily be made into a cross-curricular project by using cultures from Social Studies class and writing skills from ELA.
