Description

Start your homeschool day off with a morning meeting to help set the tone for a successful day. You get 22 days of prompts and activities to jumpstart each homeschool day and to help you stay connected with your 6th – 9th grader. Each morning menu check-in is designed to last about 10-minutes - though don't be surprised if you find yourself chatting for longer.

This is the perfect tool for:

  • New homeschool families who have decided to implement some deschooling time before jumping into a regular homeschool routine
  • Part- or full-time working parents who want to stay connected with their child as they take a more independent route to learning
  • Unschoolers looking to foster self-monitoring behavior with their kids, who build their own learning experiences
  • Families who feel like their middle schooler is starting to shut down communication during those normal, moody tween years

What’s Included in Morning Check-Ins:

Rotating Activities

Trivia Time: Pique your curiosity with intriguing facts you may have never thought about before.

Say What: Ponder what it means to be human and what motivates people to act with these open-ended questions.

Working It: Watch a short how-it-works video and talk about if the world is a better place because of the technology or invention.

True or False: Debunk internet memes and old wives' tales together.

Would You Rather: We all have secret desires and whims we would follow, if we could. Share a little bit about yourself with these fantasy either-or questions.
