Students will draw an emoji to explain how they are feeling or how their weekend was. Directions state to tell me in 2-3 sentences what you drew and why. 

Early finishers can color their emoji!

Super fun way to check-in on students and allows them to make it personal and creative!

Sometime it is hard to get middle school students to share in SEL but this was a nice simple resource to get them to start!
